This is optional. You may bring a sports bra and sport shorts if you'd like, but it is not required. Alternatively, if you wish to keep your clothing on during the treatment, we recommend loose and comfortable attire for your appointment that allows the area of treatment to be accessible to your therapist. For instance, if you are seeking physiotherapy treatment for your knee, you may opt to wear or bring a pair of shorts or loose pants that roll to above your knee. In this situation, denim jeans or long leggings would be in-optimal for your physiotherapist to treat the problem area.
Remember, this time is solely dedicated to your self-care, and your comfort matters the most. Always feel free to communicate any discomfort with your practitioner.

We kindly request that you value the reserved appointment time that has been allocated exclusively for you. A late cancellation, missed visit, or last-minute rescheduling creates a void in the therapist's schedule that could have been utilized by another patient in need.
Our cancellation policy for appointments is designed to ensure the best possible experience for all our patients. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but we kindly request that you provide us with sufficient notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
1. Cancellation Notice: We require at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the vacant appointment slot to another patient in need of care.
2. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. This fee reflects the time and resources allocated for your appointment that could have been utilized for another patient.
For massage therapy and acupuncture treatments, this cancellation fee will be equal to the full treatment fee. This cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card associated with your online JaneApp account.
For physiotherapy, this cancellation fee will be equal to 50% of the full treatment fee. This cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card associated with your online JaneApp account.
3. No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and do not provide any prior notice, you may be considered a "no-show." No-shows may result in a fee equivalent to the full cost of the missed appointment.
4. Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies can happen. If you have a genuine emergency that prevents you from attending your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make appropriate arrangements.
5. Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate your request based on schedule availability. Please provide us with ample notice to secure a new appointment time.
6. Multiple Occurrences: Repeated instances of late cancellations or no-shows may result in limitations on scheduling future appointments. Our priority is to provide consistent care to all our patients, and reliable attendance is an important aspect of achieving this goal.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policy. It helps us manage our schedule effectively, minimize wait times for other patients, and provide you with the best possible care. If you have any questions or concerns about the policy, please feel free to reach out to our clinic staff.

The time it takes to see the effects from treatment can vary depending on several factors, including the nature of your condition, your overall health, and your body's response to the treatment. While some individuals may experience noticeable improvements after just a few sessions, others might require more time to observe significant changes.
In many cases, you might start to notice some initial positive effects within a few sessions or weeks of consistent treatment. These early effects could include reduced pain, improved mobility, enhanced flexibility, and a general sense of relief. However, it's important to keep in mind that these initial improvements might be gradual and subtle.
For more complex or chronic conditions, achieving more substantial and lasting results may take longer. It's not uncommon for full recovery to take several weeks or even months of treatment and active participation in prescribed exercises and lifestyle modifications.
Your therapist will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and needs. Open communication with your therapist is key. If you have questions or concerns about the progress you're making, don't hesitate to discuss them during your sessions.
Remember that every individual's body responds differently to treatment, and factors such as adherence to exercises, lifestyle adjustments, and overall health can influence the speed of your recovery. Stay committed to your treatment plan and be patient with the process.

It's quite common to experience some degree of soreness post treatment, although the intensity and duration of this soreness can vary from person to person. This soreness is often referred to as "post-treatment soreness" or "treatment reaction." It's important to understand that this soreness can be a sign that your body is responding to the treatment and is part of the healing process.
The soreness you might experience after treatment is generally mild and should subside within 1-3 days. It's often compared to the feeling of having engaged in a new or more intense exercise routine. This soreness is often caused by the manipulation of muscles and tissues during the treatment session, which can lead to temporary inflammation and muscle fatigue.
To manage post-treatment soreness, you can consider the following tips:
1. Rest: Allow your body some time to recover and heal after the treatment. Avoid overexertion and strenuous activities immediately after the session. After the first few sessions you will have a better understanding of your body’s response to treatment and how to determine the intensity of activity you will be able to tolerate.
2. Hydration: Drink plenty of water to help with recovery. An anti-inflammatory diet rich in protein will help as well.
3. Gentle Movement: Engage in light stretching or gentle movements to keep the blood flowing to the treated areas. This can help reduce stiffness and discomfort.
4. Heat: Applying heat to the sore areas can help alleviate discomfort and promote relaxation of muscles. Ensure the temperature is not too hot and keep application within 15-20 minutes. If doing multiple heat applications ensure the rest time in between is at least 20-30 minutes.
5. Communication: If you're concerned about the level of soreness you're experiencing, don't hesitate to reach out to your physiotherapist or massage therapist. They can provide guidance and reassurance based on your specific situation.
Remember that while some soreness is normal, excessive or prolonged pain should be reported to your physiotherapist or massage therapist. They can adjust your treatment plan if needed to ensure your comfort and well-being throughout the recovery process.
